Delete your klipcook account

This page explains how to request deletion of your klipcook account and associated app data. It is provided for Google Play account deletion compliance.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

Recommended when you can still sign in to your account.

  1. Open the klipcook app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account and open Edit Profile / Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Permanently.
  4. Confirm the deletion prompt.

Option 2: Email a deletion request (if you cannot access the app)

Use this if you lost access to your device or account.

Email privacy@klipcook.app from the email address linked to your klipcook account with the subject line: Account Deletion Request.

Include your account email and any helpful context (for example, if you no longer have access to the original device).

What we delete

  • Your klipcook app account/profile information
  • Saved recipes, cookbooks, and related user-generated app content
  • Associated social/profile data in the app (where applicable)

What may be retained temporarily

  • Backup copies and logs for a limited period (typically up to 30 days)
  • Records retained as required for legal, security, fraud, or tax compliance

Subscription note (Google Play)

Deleting your klipcook account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions.
