We only collect what we need to help you cook better.
Email, username, and profile photo when you create an account. Recipes you save and cookbooks you create. Messages you send to friends.
How you interact with the app (to improve your experience), device type, and basic usage data.
When you link social accounts or sign in with Apple/Google, we receive your name and email only.
Your data helps us create magical cooking experiences.
Process your recipe videos, save your cookbooks, and personalize your recommendations.
Analyze usage patterns to make the app better. Train our AI (anonymized) to understand recipes better.

Your videos are processed, not stored.
When you submit a video URL, we download it temporarily, extract recipe information using AI, then delete the original video.
Only the extracted recipe data (ingredients, instructions) is saved to your account.
Recipe data may be used to improve our AI models, but only in anonymized form. You can opt out in settings.

When you share recipes or cookbooks with friends, or make your profile public.
We use service providers such as Supabase (database/auth), Railway (hosting), OpenAI (recipe extraction), and RevenueCat / Apple / Google for subscription and in-app purchase processing. They process data only to provide app functionality.

Bank-level security for your recipes.
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Only authorized team members can access systems, and only when necessary.
We conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify and fix vulnerabilities.

Request a copy of all your data at any time.
Update your information in the app, or delete your account from the app settings. If you cannot access the app, use our account deletion page: Account Deletion Instructions.
Opt out of marketing emails or AI training in your account settings.
